In the era of the internet, the theatre has become a sacred place for communion wherein we are forced to confront the joys and the pain of our entanglement together in this complicated world. In my work as a playwright, I confront those joys and those pains directly through exploring humanity in our most entangled states: in our sexuality, in our violent urges, and in our expressions of gender.

Using my signature style of brutal darkness, irreverent comedy, and rebellious experimentation with content and form, I intend to push audiences to entertain ideas and emotional states that are uncomfortable, but necessary to ponder for the betterment of human interaction. A proud artist-scholar-activist, all the work I create - be it a play, an academic article, or a rallying cry for social change - is made with the intention of sparking change. My work as a playwright in particular seeks to spark a change in the microcosmic universe within each of us; setting off a seismic internal shift that is emotional and intellectual. My hope is that seismic internal shift creates a ripple of progress from the audience member to the whole theatre space to the world at large.
